What is the access route from the nearest train station?
About a 2 min. walk from the East Exit of JR Himeji Station on the (Sanyo Main Line) (JR Kobe Line)

What is the access route from the nearest airport?
By bus: 140 min. ride from the Kansai International Airport by airport suttle bus / 80 min. ride from the Osaka International Airport, plus a further 10 min. walk.
By train: About a 60 min. ride to JR Himeji Station using the Portliner and JR from Kobe Airport.

What is the access route from the nearest interchange (IC)?
10 min. by car from the Himeji-minami Ramp on the Himeji Bypass.

Is car parking available?
Parking lot managed directly by the hotel (in order of reservation): Yes, there is. Guests staying at the hotel can park their car overnight for 500 JPY per night (from 3:00 pm to 10:00 am of the next morning.) Spots are assigned in order of reservation. Please make a reservation in advance (TEL+81-79-286-6111.) If the parking lot is full or if your car type does not fit the space, we will guide you to a coin-operated parking lot near the hotel. (Tie up parking lot available)
Tie up parking lot: Yes, there is a tie up parking lot available. Guests of the hotel can park their car overnight for 500 JPY per night. (from 3:00 pm to 10:00 am of the next morning.) Please present your parking ticket to the staff at the front desk upon arrival.
Is bicycle parking available?
We are terribly sorry, but we do not offer parking space for bicycles.

Do you have an ice dispenser?
Yes, on the 3rd and 8th floors.
I would like to use a microwave.
There is a microwave oven in the "Breakfast Corner" on the 1st floor. Please help yourself.
Are there vending machines?
Yes, there are vending machines available. (Soft drinks : 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th) (Alcoholic drinks : 3rd, 9th, 11th)
Do you have a coin laundry?
Yes, on the 1st and 7th floors.
Is there a vending machine for cigarettes?
We apologize, but there are no vending machines available for cigarettes. Please go buy at a nearby convenience store etc.
Can I smoke inside the facilities?
Though there are guest rooms available where smoking is permitted, all communal areas in the hotel grounds are non-smoking. Thank you for your understanding. (There is a smoking area on the 1st floor.)
When and where can I have breakfast?
Free breakfast is available 6:30AM–9:30AM in the "Breakfast Corner" on the 1st floor. (We may ask you to wait when it is congested. We thank you for your cooperation.)
Do you have a restaurant?
We apologize, but there is no restaurant available.
Do you have a meeting room?
We apologize, but there are no meeting rooms available.
Are your facilities barrier-free?
We apologize, but disabled access is not available in this hotel.

What is VOD system?
Short for "Video on Demand".
Over 200 titles are available for viewing, including movies. (1000 yen per night).
Programs include foreign films, Japanese films (Fast forward and rewind functions are available).
Is it possible to use the internet at the hotel?
Yes, wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) is available in the lobby and all rooms. Cabled LAN is available in all rooms.
How are the rooms cleaned during the stay?
Cleaning generally takes place after 10AM during your stay. The latest time to request cleaning is 1:00PM. After 1:00PM, we will not be able to accept requests for cleaning; we thank you for your understanding. (We can still replenish towels and amenities.) If you do not need room cleaning, please contact the front desk beforehand.
Is it possible to receive extra towels and amenities?
One additional towel and amenity items are available for free.

Is it permissible to hold a meeting with a non-hotel guest at the hotel?
For the hotel morale and security purposes,
we ask non-hotel guests to refrain from entering the guestrooms and guestroom hallways.
Please meet non-hotel guests in the lobby.
Are there rooms for 3 people to share?
We apologize, but there are no guest rooms for three people.
Are there rooms for women only?
We apologize, but there are no rooms for ladies only.
I have small children. Do I pay children's rate?
One child (0-12 years old) is free with each adult guest.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Normally, check-in is after 3:00pm, and check-out is before 10:00am.
They vary by your reservation plan.
* If you have the Via Inn Members Card, check-out is before noon
(limited to reservations made by phone or on the internet).
Is early check-in available?
We may not be able to accommodate your request for early check-in depending on the conditions of the hotel.
Please confirm with the hotel.
Moreover, we may charge extra fee for early check-ins, depending on how early you arrive.
Is late check-out available?
Normal check-out time is before 10:00am.
Late check-out is charged "30% of the standard room charge" until 1:00pm,
and "50% of the standard room charge" until 3:00pm.
Late check-in past 3:00pm will be charged as 1 night of stay
(* Please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate your request).
Do you accept late check-in?
If we have not received a call from you 2 hours after the check-in time designated when booking, we may cancel your booking. Please be sure to contact the hotel beforehand in the event that your arrival is later than your planned arrival time. Furthermore, for security reasons, the hotel will lock the automatic doors at the entrance during the night (1:00AM–6:00AM); we apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you use the intercom at the entrance.
Is there a curfew?
There is no closing time, but for security reasons, we lock the automatic doors at night (1:00AM–6:00AM). Please unlock the door using the card key for your guest room.
Can I stay with my pet?
Only service animals are allowed in the hotel.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept VISA/JCB/AMEX/MasterCard/J-WEST.
How can I pre-pay for my invited guests?
Please pay prior to arrival at the hotel or by bank transfer.
Alternatively, please use the official reservation site to pay by a credit card.
Please notify the hotel if you are paying upon arrival or by bank transfer.
Please kindly bear the bank remitting charges concerned with yourself.
What kind of rental items do you have?

We apologize, but there no extra beds available.
Do you offer fax service?
Yes.
We can accept them at the front desk
(shipping fees vary by the destination).
Do you offer copy / printing service?
Copies can be requested at the front desk (please contact the front desk for charges).
Is there a computer connected to the internet in the hotel?
There is a computer in the lobby for the guests.
It can be used free of charge.
Do you have PCs to rent?
Computers are available for rent (1,000 yen).
The quantities are limited.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF reader are available.
Any other file format cannot be accommodated.
Do you offer relaxation services?
Yes, a relaxation service is available for 4000 yen for 40 minutes. We accept reservations for 6PM to 1:00AM. Please make a request at the front desk during your stay.
Do you have dry cleaning / laundry service?
Yes. If a garment is left with the front desk by 9:31 in the morning, it will be returned to you at the front desk past 5PM on the same day. (The cleaning service is closed on Sundays, Public Holidays, New Years' Holiday etc.)
Do you offer room service?
We do not offer room service.
Can I get some cold medicine?
We do not offer medication because it is against the law.
Please bring them with you, or purchase them at the pharmacy.
Can I send items from the hotel?
Yes, at the front desk (Yamato).
* We do not accept shipping with special handling like Time Service or Cool Bin.
Do you offer baggage check service after the check-in / check-out?
Yes.
We can keep your luggage on the check-in or check-out day.
We do not hold belongings without a hotel reservation, valuables or fragile items,
or items that require specific temperature storage (refrigerated or frozen).
I would like to send my luggage ahead of time.
Please send to the hotel.
We can keep it until the day of your check-in.
* Please be sure to include the name of the guest (in Katakana).
We do not accept cash, valuables, fragile items, things that require special temperature storage,
or cash on delivery shipments.
Can you keep my valuables?
Yes.
They will be sealed in a valuable's bag and placed in the hotel's safe.
We may not be able to accommodate your request,
depending on the size or the nature of the items.
Can you break Japanese Yen?
The automatic payment machine can break Japanese yen bills.
Can you exchange foreign currency?
We do not offer foreign currency exchange.
Can you issue a receipt in a company name?
It is possible to address it to a company.
If paying at the time of check-in, we ask for payment to be made on the automated machine.
The receipt will be generated by the machine.
Hand-written receipt can be generated upon request.
Can I use the China Union Pay Card?
It can be used for payment upon check-in.
Payment with China Union Pay Card can be processed at the front desk (it is not accepted by the automated machine). However, please be aware that it is not accepted by other facilities inside the hotel
Do you have staff that speak languages other than Japanese?
Apart from Japanese, there may be staff that speak English. (We may not be able to accommodate your requests 24 hours, 365 days a year; we thank you for your understanding.)

What are the recommended restaurants near the hotel?
The hotel has prepared a gourmet map for nearby restaurants,
so please ask the front desk for more information.
Does the hotel have a convenience store or rental cars available?
There is a Daily Yamazaki convenience store one minute on foot from the hotel. For car rentals, Toyota Rent-a-Lease Hyogo is one minute on foot from the hotel, and Eki Rent-a-Car is three minutes on foot from the hotel.
What should I do to get to know the nearby tourist sights?

What is the nearby government administration office or public facilities?
The courthouse, tax office, pension administration building, and prefectural government building etc. are approximately 10 minutes on foot.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Based on our hotel accommodation contract,
the fee is 20% on the day before the arrival date, 80% on the arrival date,
and 100% if we do not receive a notification from you (no-show).
※There may be additional stipulations depending on plan, reservation method,
and group reservations of 15 guests or more, so please verify with the hotel you are reserving.
Can I sign up on a cancellation wait-list?
We do not offer wait-lists for cancelled reservations.
We can provide the latest information on room availability,
so please contact your desired hotel directly.
Can I make reservations by email?
We do not offer reservations through email.
We apologize, but please use the room reservation system website or contact the hotel by telephone.

Do you accept guide dogs in the hotel room?
Yes, you may bring your guide dog during your stay at Via Inn.
Though if you wish to do so, we kindly ask you to notify us before your stay.
Do I have to present my passport when checking in?
Yes, we are required by Japanese law to have
"foreign nationals who do not possess a valid Japanese address" provide their nationality and passport number,
as well as their passport for photocopying, in addition to providing their full name,
home address, and occupation when checking in.
