Is car parking available?
The hotel has no parking lot. We will show guests to our two contract parking lots.
※First-come-first-served basis. No reservations are available.
Is bicycle parking available?
We do not have a bicycle parking lot.

Do you have an ice dispenser?
It is on the 10th floor.
I would like to use a microwave.
It is on the 1st floor. Feel free to use it.
Are there vending machines?
It is on the 10th floor.
Do you have a coin laundry?
It is on the 10th floor.
Is there a vending machine for cigarettes?
We do not have a cigarette vending machine in our hotel. Please make your purchase at the nearby convenience store.
Can I smoke inside the facilities?
There is a smoking booth on the 1st floor. ※All guest rooms and common area on the hotel premises are smoke free.
When and where can I have breakfast?
You can have breakfast at Komeda Coffee VIA INN Hiroshima Shinkansenguchi on the 1st floor from 6:30 to 11:00. Special morning set: 900 yen (tax inclusive)
Do you have a restaurant?
There is Komeda Coffee VIA INN Hiroshima Shinkansenguchi on the 1st floor. Business hours: 6:30–23:00
Do you have a meeting room?
We do not have a conference room.
Are your facilities barrier-free?
Our hotel is designed barrier-free. We have a barrier-free guest room.

What is VOD system?
VOD stands for video on demand. You can enjoy watching a variety of foreign and Japanese films on about 250 channels. (1,000 yen per night) (Fast-forward and rewind are available.)
Is it possible to use the internet at the hotel?
Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi standards) is available in the lobby. Also, wireless LAN (Wi-Fi standards) is available in all guest rooms free of charge. 
How are the rooms cleaned during the stay?
Housekeeping services are available from 10:00 to 15:00 during your stay. After 13:00, our housekeeping service might be unavailable. (Towels and amenities can be changed.) If you need no housekeeping services, please let the reception know in advance.
Is it possible to receive extra towels and amenities?
You can order an extra towel/bath amenity for free. Limit 1 per person. After that, you will be charged for the extra amount. Please pay for the extra amount at the front. Thank you for your cooperation.
Is it permissible to hold a meeting with a non-hotel guest at the hotel?
For the hotel morale and security purposes,
we ask non-hotel guests to refrain from entering the guestrooms and guestroom hallways.
Please meet non-hotel guests in the lobby.
Are there rooms for 3 people to share?

Are there rooms for women only?
We have no guest rooms for women only.
I have small children. Do I pay children's rate?
One child (0-12 years old) is free with each adult guest.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Normally, check-in is after 3:00pm, and check-out is before 10:00am.
They vary by your reservation plan.
Is early check-in available?
We may not be able to accommodate your request for early check-in depending on the conditions of the hotel.
Please confirm with the hotel.
Moreover, we may charge extra fee for early check-ins, depending on the time.
Is late check-out available?
Checkout is usually by 10:00. If you want late checkout, 1,000 yen per person per hour will be charged until 13:00. After 13:00, we will charge one night.
(※We may not be able to offer a room depending on the reservation status on the day.)
Do you accept late check-in?
If you do not check-in after two hours from the time you confirmed your reservation without prior notice, the reservation may be cancelled. If you arrive late, be sure to let us know in advance. We lock the automatic entrance door for the purpose of crime prevention from 1:00 to 6:00. Please call reception on the intercom at the entrance.
Is there a curfew?
We have no curfew at our hotel. However, the automatic entrance door is locked for the purpose of crime prevention from 1:00 to 6:00. Please unlock the door with your guest room card key.
Can I stay with my pet?
Only service animals are allowed in the hotel.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept VISA/JCB/AMEX/MasterCard/J-WEST.
How can I pre-pay for my invited guests?
Please pay prior to arrival at the hotel or by bank transfer.
Alternatively, please use the official reservation site to pay by a credit card.
Please notify the hotel if you are paying upon arrival or by bank transfer.
We are not liable for any fees incurred through bank transfer.
What kind of rental items do you have?
You can borrow the following.

Do you have a crib?
Unfortunately, we do not offer cribs.

Extra beds are available but can be used only for some types of rooms. Please contact the hotel. (Tel: 082-568-5489)
Do you offer fax service?
Yes.
We can accept them at the front desk

Do you offer copy / printing service?
Copies can be requested at the front desk (please contact the front desk for charges).
Id there a computer connected to the internet in the hotel?
There is a computer in the lobby for the guests.
It can be used free of charge.
Do you have PCs to rent?
Computers are available for rent (1,000 yen).
The quantities are limited.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF reader are available.
Any other file format cannot be accommodated.
Do you offer relaxation services?
It is available. Please see the information in the room for details.
Do you have dry cleaning / laundry service?
A laundry service is available. If you leave your laundry at the front desk by 9:30 in the morning, you can pick it up after the evening on the same day at the front desk.
(Our laundry service is not available on Sundays, national holidays, summer holidays, and New Year's holidays.)
Do you offer room service?
We do not offer room service.
Can I get some cold medicine?
We do not offer medication because it is against the law.
Please bring them with you, or purchase them at the pharmacy.
Can I send items from the hotel?
Yes, at the front desk (Yamato).
※We do not accept shipping with special handling like Time Service or Cool Bin.
Do you offer baggage check service after the check-in / check-out?
Yes.
We can keep your luggage on the check-in or check-out day.
We do not hold belongings without a hotel reservation, valuables or fragile items,
or items that require specific temperature storage (refrigerated or frozen).
I would like to send my luggage ahead of time.
Please send to the hotel.
We can keep it until the day of your check-in.
※Please be sure to include the name of the guest (in Katakana).
We do not accept cash, valuables, fragile items, things that require special temperature storage,
or cash on delivery shipments.
Can you keep my valuables?
Yes.
They will be sealed in a valuable's bag and placed in the hotel's safe.
We may not be able to accommodate your request,
depending on the size or the nature of the items.
Can you exchange Japanese Yen?
You can exchange money at the front desk.
Can you exchange foreign currency?
We do not offer foreign currency exchange.
Can you issue a receipt in a company name?
It is possible to address it to a company.
If paying at the time of check-in, we ask for payment to be made on the automated machine.
The receipt will be generated by the machine.
Hand-written receipt can be generated upon request.
Can I use the Ginren Card?
It can be used for payment upon check-in.
Payment with China Union Pay Card can be processed at the front desk (it is not accepted by the automated machine).
However, please be aware that it is not accepted by other facilities inside the hotel.
Do you have staff that speak languages other than Japanese?
There are some staff members who can speak English and Chinese other than Japanese. (They are not always available.)

What are the recommended restaurants near the hotel?
A guide for restaurants near the hotel is available. Please get one at the front desk.
Does the hotel have a convenience store available?
About a two-minute walk from the hotel. Exit the hotel entrance, turn left, and cross the pedestrian crossing, and there you will find Seven Eleven.
What should I do to get to know the nearby tourist sights?

Train: Take a streetcar (Hiroshima Electric Railway) for Miyajima-guchi and get off at Kamiyacho- nishieki or Kamiyacho-nishi, and walk for 3 minutes.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Based on our hotel accommodation contract,
the fee is 20% on the day before the arrival date, 80% on the arrival date,
and 100% if we do not receive a notification from you (no-show).
※There may be additional stipulations depending on plan, reservation method,
and group reservations of 15 guests or more, so please verify with the hotel you are reserving.
Can I sign up on a cancellation wait-list?
We do not offer wait-lists for cancelled reservations.
We can provide the latest information on room availability,
so please contact your desired hotel directly.
Can I make reservations by email?
We do not offer reservations through email.
We apologize, but please use the room reservation system website or contact the hotel by telephone.

Do you accept guide dogs in the hotel room?
Yes, you may bring your guide dog during your stay at Via Inn.
Though if you wish to do so, we kindly ask you to notify us before your stay.
Do I have to present my passport when checking in?
Yes, we are required by Japanese law to have
"foreign nationals who do not possess a valid Japanese address" provide their nationality and passport number,
as well as their passport for photocopying, in addition to providing their full name,
home address, and occupation when checking in.
