What is the access route from the nearest airport?
By bus: Approximately 40 minutes by bus from Osaka (Itami) Airport. Get off at "Osaka Station" (Osaka Eki-Mae) bus stop. It is a 5-minute walk from there.
: Approximately 60 minutes by bus from Kansai International Airport. Get off at "Osaka Station" (Osaka Eki-Mae) bus stop. It is a 5-minute walk from there.
By train: Approximately 60 minutes if using the JR Haruka limited express train from Kansai International Airport, with a change of train at Tennoji Station, and a final stop at Osaka station.

What is the access route from the nearest interchange (IC)?
[From the Meishin Expressway] Go in the direction of Umeda by taking Shin Midosuji (National Route 423) from the Suita interchange.
[From the Chugoku Expressway] From the Chugoku Expressway, take the Hanshin Expressway 11, Ikeda Route to the Umeda Exit.

Do you have an ice dispenser?
Yes, it is on the 12th floor.
I would like to use a microwave.
Unfortunately, we do not have one.
Are there vending machines?
Yes, it is on the 12th floor.
Do you have a coin laundry?
Yes, it is on the 12th floor.
Is there a vending machine for cigarettes?
Unfortunately, we do not have a cigarette vending machine. Please purchase cigarettes at the convenient store on the 1st floor.
Can I smoke inside the facilities?
You may smoke in smoking-allowed rooms and the public smoking lounge on the 1st floor, but not in any other public area. We would appreciate your understanding.
When and where can I have breakfast?
Free breakfast is available at the breakfast area on the 12th floor from 6:30 to 9:30. *Please note that you may have to wait if crowded.
Do you have a restaurant?
Unfortunately, we do not have one.
Do you have a meeting room?
Unfortunately, we do not have one.
Are your facilities barrier-free?
Yes, the public areas are accessible.
Regarding the hotel rooms, only the Universal Twin rooms are accessible. We would appreciate your understanding.
Do you have a public bath?
Unfortunately, we do not have one.

What is VOD system?
VOD stands for "Video On Demand". You can view around 200 film and TV channels (at 1,000 yen per night). There are Western and Japanese films available (these can be fast forwarded and rewound).
Is it possible to use the internet at the hotel?
Yes, you can connect via Wi-Fi in the lobby area. You can also connect free of charge via Wi-Fi or a LAN cable in all the rooms. 
How are the rooms cleaned during the stay?
Room cleaning takes place from 10:00 until 13:00. Please be aware we are unable to accept requests for room cleaning after 13:00 (we can only replace towels and other amenities). If you do not wish your room to be cleaned please let us know beforehand at the front desk.
Is it possible to receive extra towels and amenities?
For additional towels and other amenities, one of each item can be provided per person for free. For subsequent items there will be a separate charge.
* We apologise for the inconvenience but additional items would need to be collected at the front desk.
Is it permissible to hold a meeting with a non-hotel guest at the hotel?
We are sorry but in the interests of moral standards, security and fire prevention, only guests staying at this hotel are permitted inside the rooms, as well as the room hallways. Please use the lobby area for meetings.
Are there rooms for 3 people to share?
We are sorry but unfortunately there are no rooms accommodating three people.
Are there rooms for women only?
We are sorry but there are no women-only rooms.
I have small children. Do I pay children's rate?
For each adult guest, one child under 12 years old can stay in the room free of charge.
* Please be aware that although there is no room charge for children, extra amenities such as towels and toothbrushes are not provided.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Normally check-in is available from 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00. This may vary depending on the details of your reservation plan.
Is early check-in available?
Early check-in, before the usual time of 15:00, may not be possible depending on reservations for that day and the previous day. We are sorry but for further details please contact the hotel. Furthermore, if you do wish to check-in earlier than 15:00 there will be a separate charge depending on the time.
Is late check-out available?
As a rule, check-out is before 10:00 and there is an extension charge for late check-outs. Before 13:00 this is 30% of the standard room rate, before 15:00 it is 50% of the standard room rate. The charge for late check-outs after 15:00 is the room rate for one night's stay.
* Please be aware that we may not be able to respond to your wishes depending on reservations for that day.
Do you accept late check-in?
If two hours after your arranged check-in time you have not yet arrived at the hotel or contacted us, your reservation may be cancelled. Please make sure to let us know beforehand if you are going to arrive later than expected. For security purposes the automatic doors at the entrance to the hotel are locked at night (from 1:00 to 6:00). We are sorry for the inconvenience, but in this case please use the intercom located next to the entrance.
Is there a curfew?
There is no curfew but for security reasons the automatic doors at the hotel entrance are locked at night (from 1:00 to 6:00). Please use your room card key to gain access.
Can I stay with my pet?
We are very sorry but only assistance dogs (guide dogs, hearing dogs, mobility assistance dogs etc.) are allowed in the hotel.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept VISA, JCB, AMEX, MasterCard, and J-WEST.
How can I pre-pay for my invited guests?
Please pay before the check-in date by visiting the hotel or by bank transfer. You can also pay by credit card through the official reservations website. Please let us know beforehand if you wish to pay at the hotel or through your bank. We are sorry but we must ask you to bear the cost of any handing charge for bank transfers. Please note we cannot agree to later payment.

We are sorry but we do not have any baby cribs. We also do not have bed guards or rails.
Do you have extra beds?
We are sorry but we don't provide extra beds.
Do you offer fax service?
Yes, this is available at the front desk (charges vary depending on the number of pages and fax destination).
Do you offer copy / printing service?
Photocopies can be made at the front desk (please ask regarding cost). However please be aware we are unable to provide a printing service using data from USB drives or email attachments.
Id there a computer connected to the internet in the hotel?
There is a computer in the lobby for guests to use free of charge.
Do you have PCs to rent?
A limited number of computers are available for guests to rent (1,000 yen per night). They support Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files. Other file formats may not be compatible.
Do you offer relaxation services?
Yes, we do. During your stay please check the information guide in your room, and enquiries can be made at the front desk.
Do you have dry cleaning / laundry service?
Yes, we do. During your stay please check the information guide in your room, and enquiries can be made at the front desk.
Do you offer room service?
We are sorry but we do not provide room service.
Can I get some cold medicine?
It is illegal for us to provide any pharmaceutical products. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we would request you bring any medical supplies you need with you, or purchase items from a hospital or drugstore.
Can I send items from the hotel?
Yes, we can arrange this at the front desk.
* We do not handle special delivery methods such as "Time Service" and refrigerated courier services.
* We only deal with the shipping company Yamato Transport.
Do you offer baggage check service after the check-in / check-out?
Yes, we can hold your luggage on the day you check-in, or the day you check out. We are however unable to take luggage without a hotel reservation, or any luggage containing valuables, fragile items, or items requiring temperature control (refrigerated or frozen products etc.).
I would like to send my luggage ahead of time.
Luggage can be sent ahead, and we can keep it here for you until the day of your check-in.
* Please make sure the guest's name is written clearly (in Japanese Katakana script) as well as the day or days they are staying.
We are unable to accept luggage containing money, valuables, fragile items, or any items that require temperature or humidity control, such as anything sent by a regfrigerated courier service. We can also not accept luggage sent cash on delivery.
Can you keep my valuables?
Yes, we can keep valuables sealed in bags within the hotel safe. Please be aware depending on the size or nature of the items we may not be able to accomodate your request.
Can you exchange Japanese Yen?
Yes, the automatic payment machines can give out change.
Can you exchange foreign currency?
We are sorry but we cannot exchange foreign currency.
Can you issue a receipt in a company name?
Yes, receipts can be issued in the name of a company. Other than customers wishing to pay directly at the front desk when they check-in, we request customers use the automatic payment machines. These print out a receipt automatically. It is also possible to prepare a handwritten receipt if required.
Can I use the Ginren Card?
It can be used for payment upon check-in. Payments with the "Ginren Card" are taken at the front desk counter (they are not accepted by the automatic payment machines).
Do you have staff that speak languages other than Japanese?
There are times when English speaking staff are on duty (please be aware however this will not be the case 24 hours a day, every day of the year).
Can I bring my breakfast to my room and eat it there?
Breakfast is served buffet style, and can only be eaten in the areas provided. In the interests of hygiene and prevention of food poisoning, taking food in or out of these areas is not permitted.
Do you offer rooms for day use only?
We are sorry but rooms are not available on a day use basis.
When do I need to pay for my room?
Payment will need to be in advance, up to the time of check-in.
Do you provide free drinks?
Tea bags and instant coffee etc. are available in the communal space on the first floor. Please use the electric kettle in your room to make hot drinks. * There are no complimentary drinks provided in the rooms.
There are two of us staying together in one room, can we have two room keys?
In the case of two people sharing a twin or double room we will issue a second key if you make a request at the front desk.
Do I need to leave my room key at the front desk when I go outside?
You may keep hold of your room key until check-out. If you are concerned about losing it, we are happy to look after your key at the front desk.
Can you put my checked luggage in my room?
We are sorry but at this hotel we are unable to take bags up to your room.
Do you have slippers and night clothes for children?
We are sorry but unfortunately we do not.
Do you accept gift certificates, Quo Card, or electric money (contactless payments etc.)?
We are sorry but we do not accept any of these payment methods.

What are the recommended restaurants near the hotel?
As we have prepared information on nearby restaurants, please feel free to ask at the front desk.
Does the hotel have a convenience store or rental cars available?
For convenience stores, there is a Seven-Eleven and Heart-In (24-hour) on the first floor of the hotel. For car rentals, there is a station car rental service about 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Based on our hotel accommodation contract,
the fee is 20% on the day before the arrival date, 80% on the arrival date,
and 100% if we do not receive a notification from you (no-show).
※There may be additional stipulations depending on plan, reservation method,
and group reservations of 15 guests or more, so please verify with the hotel you are reserving.
Can I sign up on a cancellation wait-list?
We do not offer wait-lists for cancelled reservations.
We can provide the latest information on room availability,
so please contact your desired hotel directly.
Can I make reservations by email?
We do not offer reservations through email.
We apologize, but please use the room reservation system website or contact the hotel by telephone.
Is it alright if the person making the reservation is different from the guest?
Please write the name of the guests in the Guest Information column.
We also ask that our guests please let us know the details of their accomodation plan, or if their arrival might be delayed.
Is there any difference in the fee charged for a reservation made over the Internet compared to a reservation made by telephone?
Fees for Internet reservations will vary from day to day, depending on availability and market demand. Although fees for telephone reservations will also vary, membership fees (for members, corporations, etc.) are accepted at a flat rate (our best rate).
Please note that rates indicated on the Internet cannot be accepted for reservations over the telephone.

Do you accept guide dogs in the hotel room?
Yes, you may bring your guide dog during your stay at Via Inn.
Though if you wish to do so, we kindly ask you to notify us before your stay.
Do I have to present my passport when checking in?
Yes, we are required by Japanese law to have
"foreign nationals who do not possess a valid Japanese address" provide their nationality and passport number,
as well as their passport for photocopying, in addition to providing their full name,
home address, and occupation when checking in.
