A long-established rice shop in Kyoto that has been in business since the Kansei Era of Edo (1603-1868). We have prepared a rice dish that will help you rediscover the deliciousness of Japanese rice. The rice is specially blended by a five-star rice meister just for VIA INN guests. Only brand-name rice from each region has been luxuriously blended for an even better taste.
In addition, the way the rice is stored, washed, and cooked is managed under the guidance of rice masters. We hope you enjoy this special rice that can only be eaten in the region.

This blend is based on Koshihikari produced in Yamagata Prefecture. It is characterized by a rich aroma and moderately soft grains of rice that will stand up to any side dish. In addition, we added Hitomebore produced in Yamagata Prefecture to maintain the sweetness, and Sasanishiki produced in Miyagi Prefecture to add more sweetness and a hidden crunchy texture.
