The Origin of "Hibari no Yu"
The name of the large public bath, "Hibari-no-Yu" (Skylark Bath), embodies two wishes: just as the skylark—Kumamoto Prefecture's official bird—heralds the arrival of spring and the morning, we hope for Kumamoto's recovery from disaster and the coming of a new spring; and we hope guests will soothe their fatigue with the home-like comfort of Via Inn and wake up to a wonderful morning.
